On September 28, 2023, Ba Huan Corporation, which holds 30% of the egg market share in Southern Vietnam, announced the successful operation of the ERP SAP overall enterprise management system along with comprehensive digital management applications, covering the entire process from the farm to the distribution chain. Real-time management, strict control of product quality and the savings of time and effort, leading to increase revenue, are essential results in the cooperation journey between Ba Huan and FPT Corporation with the goal of comprehensive digital transformation, conquering the dream of digital agriculture, there by continuing to delivery “pure gold” quality products to customers.
From a company operating purely in the agricultural sector, Ba Huan has pioneered the adoption of advanced and comprehensive digital technology systems from FPT to make a significant transformation into a business that keeps up with global development trends, becoming Vietnam’s leading food solutions provider. The digital transformation platform with SAP core system and Made by FPT applications, has been designed to help Ba Huan’s leadership manage operations in real-time, creating a seamless process in management. This system strictly controls the stage of selecting raw materials, livestock farming, harvesting, production, processing and delivering to customers. The system ensures that all stages are closely monitored, allowing for quick identification of any issues at any stage without disrupting the entire process, thereby thereby saving time, effort, and costs, but the results are beyond expectations.

Specifically, FPT has successfully deployed for Ba Huan a closed 3F (Feed – Farm – Food) management system including the RISE with SAP solution set specializing in the agricultural sector along with 03 packaged solution sets on the SAP platform and 03 Made by FPT applications, applied to the entire Ba Huan company system including the Headquarters, factories of the enterprise and subsidiaries located in the provinces and cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Long An, Hanoi. The SAP S/4HANA system with 8 subsystems is considered the backbone to make Ba Huan achieve “best practice” of international standard management, specifically for the agricultural and livestock sectors, creating favorable conditions for harmoniously integrating the surrounding Made by FPT solutions. Based on the SAP platform, with experience and capacity to master technology, and understanding the company’s solutions as well as customer problems, FPT experts have developed 03 packaged solutions on the SAP platform for Program Management, Promotion Policies (FPT Trade Promotion); Transportation Management (FPT Allocation Route); Business Planning (FPT Planning). Additionally, FPT developed for Ba Huan 03 digital applications: Farm App (Livestock Management Application), Delivery App (Distribution Management), and Sale Portal (Sales Management).

Reports are continuously updated frequently a day, and activities such as production, inventory, logistics, daily sales, and each employee’s work management are all intuitively monitored on the system. The digital applications have brought about comprehensive changes in how the entire Ba Huan system operates. The deployment of the Farm App and Delivery App is truly a significant step forward in management, and above all, the customer experience will be raised to a new level when products are strictly controlled at each stage of production, and delivered to consumers with the best quality in the shortest time”.

Ba Huan has built a network of factories and farms with a comprehensive infrastructure, including 4 processing factories and 3 livestock farms located in major cities such as Hanoi, Long An, Binh Duong. Along with a system of 65 poultry cages and 1 egg incubation room, of which: Binh Duong farm has 22 barns for breeding chickens and laying hens; Ben Luc farm has 29 barns for rearing chickens and laying hens; Thanh Hoa farm has 14 barns for raising broiler chicken. Therefore, centralized management is Ba Huan’s top priority.
The Farm App application makes reporting easy, eliminating unnecessary complexity and time-consuming. All information is continously updated, stored and displayed through the application, directly connected to the SAP S/4HANA comprehensive management system. The executive board and departments can monitor the entire process at the farm from: importing chickens, number of barns, function of each barn… anytime and anywhere. Based on this integration, accurate and timely decisions of the executive board will be quickly forwarded to separate departments at factories and farms in different areas, both convenient and highly effective.

In addition, deploying the Delivery App assists Ba Huan to complete a seamless delivery system. Order information and delivery schedules are aggregated in the system, allowing staff to easily receive and process tasks, and reduce transportation time. Interaction with sales agents is also more effective, enhancing management and business capabilities across the entire supply chain, minimizing operational costs to the lowest level.
The transformation journey of Ba Huan has been clearly demonstrated since the time of applying digital transformation to the entire production process. Previously, due to challenges in centralized quality management and goods transportation, the production of food products was difficult. However, up to now, with high-quality raw materials from available livestock farms, along with the support of management tools of the SAP technology platform, Ba Huan not only produced poultry eggs but also launched a variety of processed food lines according to consumer needs, affirming its position in the field of food solutions.
